it would probably help if the roof didnt leak like a seive... of if this place actually had walls. Washington is not the place anyone would want to be homeless. I'd move to Hawaii if it were an option. I tripped over another hobo and landed on yet another. The first grumbled in his drug-induced coma. The second started screaming in what could only be described as gibberish as he flailed wildly, silhouetted against the rain-soaked ground, glimmering in the streetlights behind him. I looked around and found a two-by-four with which I promptly and ruthlessly put him back to sleep. 'Damn I hate hobos' I grumbled. My breath visible in the dimness. I reflected on the past two years. I'd had a job; a very good paying job which took six years of college to obtain. I was still paying off my student loan up until that fateful day. That day would put into motion a chain of events that led me here.
of tossing and turning. I got out of bed. The rain had kept me from sleeping. On nights like these I was reminded of why I hated living in Washington.
